Xing Zhongying said that due to the continuous rise of nickel prices in the international market, the prices of the main raw materials for the production of stainless steel have risen, and the unit price of stainless steel products was at a high level in July. Manufacturers as the demand side take a wait-and-see attitude towards purchasing high-priced products. They generally believe that the current high prices will not last. Therefore, they purchase appropriate quantities according to the production schedule and reduce inventory to a minimum, resulting in a decline in transaction volume. Looking forward to the market outlook, as policy effects continue to accumulate, the supporting role of macro-level market demand will increase, and transaction volume will also rise again.

In terms of varieties, in July, the sales volume of stainless steel profiles (bars) ranked first in the market, with a sales volume of 1370 tons, a decrease of 15.95% from the previous month (the same below), accounting for 30.93% of the total market sales (the same below); It was 24.5 million yuan, down 8.24%, accounting for 29.59%. The second largest sales volume is stainless steel pipes, with a sales volume of 1,340 tons, a decrease of 19.76%, accounting for 30.25%; a transaction volume of 27.5 million yuan, a decrease of 8.94%, accounting for 33.21%. The third place in sales was stainless steel plates, with sales of 1,140 tons, a decrease of 33.33%, accounting for 25.73%; the transaction volume was 23.3 million yuan, a decrease of 25.08%, accounting for 28.14%. Sales ranked fourth in other categories, with sales of 580 tons, an increase of 625.00%, accounting for 13.09%; the transaction volume was 7.5 million yuan, an increase of 733.33%, accounting for 9.06%.
