Hadeed Pakistan’s New Cold Rolling Mill Goes Into Operation

In late February, Hadeed Pakistan started a new cold rolling plant in Lahore, Punjab, northeast Pakistan. The plant has a capacity of 300,000 tons per year and is equipped with 6-Hi cold rolling mills, pickling lines, annealing lines and packaging equipment.

The finished products include cold rolled coils with a thickness of 0.2-2mm, a width of 700-1000mm, and a weight of 26 tons. The rolling speed of the mill is up to 1000 m/min, and hot rolled coil materials with a thickness of 2-4 mm are used.

The three largest CRC producers in Pakistan are International Industries (capacity 1.12 million tons/year), Aisha Steel Plant (capacity 720,000 tons/year) and Hadeed Pakistan. The other two producers are located in Karachi, southern Pakistan.
