Ronsco's Duplex Stainless Steel Products Are Recognized By Users Again

Recently, Ronsco Group received a letter of thanks from Zhejiang Jiuli Special Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Juli"). In the letter, Jiuli thanked Ronsco for providing high-quality products and services in the 2020 PDO international project, and gave a high evaluation of the quality and performance of Ronsco's stainless steel materials.

PDO is an oil company controlled by the State of Oman. Its oil and natural gas production ranks among the top 20 in the world. The gas gathering pipeline project constructed by PDO will cost 130 million U.S. dollars and include 16 natural gas production wells. Because it is located in the coastal desert of the Middle East, the natural gas developed by the project is sour natural gas, so it is necessary to use high-strength and high-corrosion-resistant duplex stainless steel pipes to undertake the transportation of natural gas to the central processing plant. This puts more stringent requirements on the surface quality and shape accuracy of the basic materials. To this end, Ronsco's duplex stainless steel team takes advantage of the synergistic advantage of "production, study, research and application". In terms of process technology, the work is carried out from composition design, steel cleanliness, microstructure control, and precise process control, and is used in the production of duplex stainless steel. It is the first time to propose and reasonably apply a new technology that takes into account high-temperature strength and low-temperature toughness, becoming one of the few suppliers in the world that can meet this requirement.
