310 stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for making various furnace components with a maximum temperature of 1200°C and a continuous use temperature of 1150°C.

The main elements of 310 and 310S are the same; the main difference is the size of the carbon content: the carbon content of 310 is <=0.25%, and the carbon content of 310S is <=0.08%.The S in 310S represents specially treated 310 stainless steel, and its mechanical properties are better than 310 stainless steel. Therefore, the high temperature resistance of 310S stainless steel is higher than 310 stainless steel.

The outer diameter of hot-rolled seamless pipe is generally greater than 32mm and the wall thickness is 2.5-200mm. The outer diameter of cold-rolled seamless steel pipe can be up to 6mm and the wall thickness can be up to 0.25mm. Rolling has higher dimensional accuracy than hot rolling.
