316/316L (UNS S31600 & S31603) belong to the American standard austenitic stainless steel, the implementation standard: ASTM A276/A276M-2017. Due to the addition of molybdenum, 316 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength, and can be used under harsh conditions; it has excellent work hardening (non-magnetic). As a low-carbon series of 316 steel, 316L stainless steel has the same characteristics as 316 steel, and has excellent grain boundary corrosion resistance. Mainly used for: equipment used in sea water, chemical, dye, paper, oxalic acid, fertilizer and other production equipment; photography, food industry, coastal facilities, ropes, CD rods, bolts, nuts.

Production Process & Quality Inspection of Stainless Steel Angle Bars

Stainless steel profile production process: 1. The production of stainless steel profiles is mainly the extrusion process. The shape of the round ingot is changed to the profile through die extrusion. 2. After extrusion, heat treatment is required for profiles, which we commonly call aging to achieve relatively high hardness. 3. After heat treatment, some aluminum materials do not require surface treatment, that is, stainless steel profile blanks, also called base materials or materials. 4. Most of the heat-treated stainless steel profiles also need surface treatment to achieve aesthetics and anti-oxidation effects. Surface treatment methods include anodic oxidation, electrophoresis, powder spraying, fluorocarbon paint spraying, wood grain transfer and so on. Among them, oxidation profiles and electrophoresis profiles can be colored or not. 5. The surface-treated stainless steel profiles can be packaged and put into storage, and there are also some products that require deep processing, which can be transferred directly to deep processing without packaging. 6. It should be particularly emphasized here that some aluminum products have very high surface requirements and need to be deep processed first, and then surface treatment (small pieces of oxidation).
